Canyon City Commission To Meet Tuesday

The Canyon City Commission will meet Tuesday at 4:30pm in the Commission Chambers at 301 16th Street in the City Hall. The Commission will act on a Resolution reviewing and updating the City of Canyon’s Investment Policy Pursuant to the Public Funds Investment Act. They will take appropriate action on Ordinance Amending the City’s Budget for the Fiscal Year Beginning October 1, 2025 and Ending September 30, 2026, they will adopt a Purchasing Policy; Providing Direction to the City Manager or Designee; to provide a Severability Clause and Providing an Effective Date. The Commission will adopt a Title VI (6) Nondiscrimination Plan; Authorizing the City Manager to Execute All Required Federal and State assurances; Designating a Title VI Coordinator; Providing an Effective Date; and Providing for Open Meetings Compliance. The Commission will also Proclaim the Month of September as “Hunger Action Month” and they will hear any Public Comments.
